Threshold of the sea bed

A million trillion ounces of water, A mammoth could float through the sea.
I’m the sea bed lying calm and still, supporting the life with a fitting spree.
I silently watch the pod of dolphins and whales, the sea-ferns and ships, afloat.
The burden on my chest though kills me, I choose to continue support.
The threshold of the sea-bed it is, its reaching there, slowly but for sure.
A time would come that a crack would knock through me, spreading despair and no hope.
I’m the daughter of the earth and refuse to quit and crack.
I pray for strength from the almighty and tighten the screws around.
For it is for the weak to give-up and not for me to drown.
