The House of Faith

The house of faith has many rooms.
The kitchen, where Mother Nature feeds and nourishes us.
The drawing room, where we invite family and friends to our lives.
The wash-room, where we dump all the negativity and despair to keep our faith alive.
But most importantly, the house of faith has a silent corner. A dark room, a room filled with darkness and hopelessness.
Why would such a room be allowed? I often ask.
Darkness, broods over happiness and hope and brutally murders our faith, which we had nourished all this while, with utmost care.
Is Faith that delicate? Does it need to be protected or reconciled with? I often ask.
Accepting the house of faith with the dark room is what is having true faith. God works in mysterious ways. One of his ways is to destroy what we love the most. Life is all about continuous evolution to the next level. As when the counting reaches from 0 to 9 the next number is 10 i.e. the next level.
The dark silent corner in reality is a passage to the next level for everyone who lives in the house of faith.

Procastanisation and the equation of life

Every incident happening in the universe\around us is a result to balance out an unbalanced mathematical equation.
What contributes in development of this equation is our Karma. As per the Karmic theory , every action bears a result and an individual (could be a person, society, country, planet, star) is bound by this result.
We have taken this janma so that we can assimilate the unbalanced affects of our previous karmas and balance out the equation. But in the process of doing so, we end up doing a new set of Karmas and get bound by a new set of results.

“Know what happened, happened and couldn’t have happened anyother way”-Morpheus.
Procastanisation would cause us to become hopeless and surrender to the thought above, making us weak and dis-interested in our duties.
The Bhagwad Gita :Chapter on Karma Yog- tells us to escape the vicious logic of Procastanisation.
1.       It says all new Karma shall be done as a duty.
2.       It escape from getting bound by the result of our Karmas , do the Karma as if you are performing a Yajna. i.e. making sacrifice to the holy flame.
3.       This would result in burning the deficit of your previous Karmas and helping you attain salvation.

4.       Leave the idea of control and surrender.-Hari Om Tatsat.

Threshold of the sea bed

A million trillion ounces of water, A mammoth could float through the sea.
I’m the sea bed lying calm and still, supporting the life with a fitting spree.
I silently watch the pod of dolphins and whales, the sea-ferns and ships, afloat.
The burden on my chest though kills me, I choose to continue support.
The threshold of the sea-bed it is, its reaching there, slowly but for sure.
A time would come that a crack would knock through me, spreading despair and no hope.
I’m the daughter of the earth and refuse to quit and crack.
I pray for strength from the almighty and tighten the screws around.
For it is for the weak to give-up and not for me to drown.

Sine Wave : Theory of Life and everything

Ancient scriptures talk about an enlightened raven called kakbhishund who focussed on the point which lies between the air he inhaled and exhaled, hence maintaining an enlightened state of mind.I just discovered its meaning. As per theory of life we shall focus on our problems when things are normal and shall focus on our blessings when things are low. This will help us balance.

Me

I just wanna live my life, I just wanna drive my bike….
Take the random muddy turns….enjoy the occasional drizzle and hurls….
I might not qualify of being a normal guy…the flagger-mouthed Indian mislead youth…
Who thinks of only a career, cars and youth….and judges others with an eye of servitude.
I’m a misfit , off the road…I find my way and learn the tough way. I take pangas and do dangas…..If I do not like someone I make him nanga.
I do not care for reputations and accents, if you wanna get along me, respect everyone with passion.

I write poetry, to answer the questions within…..it helps me travel the path and keep the pursuit of happyness ticking.

Lemme Live!!

Is mediocrity equivalent to a valley amidst the high mountains? Or is it just that we fail to identify the beauty of the same, for it is the valley where the flowers blossom.
The society around is full of bright eyed people so eager to be the next super achiever, this is very specific to careers. We want to have a super alumni tag (which happens to be the new caste system) ,respect in the society would be given only to those who are from top institutes , companies or other facets of society. Where does a common man go? The common man is at guilt to. For he too has embraced the caste system and wants to be the achiever in his club. The entire hierarchy has been plagued with the same.
Few years ago, Amir Khan captured the essence of what I’m trying to write down. In his movie the 3-idiots. Was he truly proposing mediocrity or he was urging people to follow their dreams and not try to please the society.
Well , I’m not the one to follow my dreams. I like to dream when I’m asleep. I’m an average Joe , who wants to earn well enough to maintain a particular lifestyle. Even if it would mean doing a Job as boring as being in IT.  People would rate it as a majdoor job. Not the kind an MBA from a top B-School would do. I, once had a perception and craving for being in a top consulting firm ,Jabbering all the gyan, in english to earn a living, I often felt motivated enough to write my GMAT,aim for a top B-school, guess what, I’m too lazy to spend my weekends on learning English grammar and practising high school mathematics. I believe life is more than, flashing your alumni status. It’s about how human you are, to yourself and everything that surrounds you. I feel its more important to connect to the energy around you, to be able to look into a person’s eye and read his mind. It’s more important to understand the way the nature works. To absorb its ways, to be a part of it.

I’d been on a Jungle safari recently. I saw a family of deer crossing the river. The male, also the head of the family cautiously leading his family across the river. I watched them in awe, aware of the fact that there were predators all around, and inevitably one of them would be hunted down. It was a moment of truth for me, here we had a family, battling for survival in the jungle and here I was, a visitor from a civilized world, coming to their survival arena to find peace.
We have a luxury to do so many things in life, travel the world, choose a lifestyle, enjoy the weekend. Be at peace, with oneself and with the world.Let's not torment ourselves with un-necessary ambitiousness. Let's Live and let Live.

Prabhu ki sharan

A major life incident has motivated me to find my answers through my blog. I have been through shitty situations, but this time the problem is acute enough to make me sit in isolation and deeply introspect.
It has taken me quite some time to understand the fraction of the love of family towards me. The unquestioning faith they have in me, and the unconditional commitment they have towards my well being. Just to extend this hierarchy, I often wonder, what would god’s love be?
This article would be just a humble attempt to understand the magnanimity of the same.
Life is an uncertain affair in all its dimensions. Family, Friends, colleagues, opportunities, health, there is always an element of un-certainty that we face the very moment our soul is implanted in the fetus.
As per the Hind mythology, the Karmic factor in our previous lives is responsible for whatever situations we will have to face. Every action has an effect, We are here to balance out the effect, of our associated actions in our previous births. Also, the only feasible way to get rid of the Karmic cycle would be to do our Karmas or actions in a selfless way i.e. to do whatever we do as a duty to god, and should have a frame of mind, such that we disassociate ourselves with the result.
Now, talking about god, the almighty, He is also termed as the father, or the supreme father. God loves us in the same manner our family loves us. The only difference is that his love is many times more than what we can imagine. He does it in a silent and an invisible way, but I always know that he is watching us. What would make a parent proud? The first steps of an infant, success in career and personal lives, the same rule applies to god. He helps us in every possible way, so that we can realize the divinity in ourselves and make him proud. He chooses to be invisible, but watchful. This is my faith, and my faith is my shield against every un-certainty I face in life. It is because I know, I am his child and he loves me, he will always be with me while I face the worse and best of situations, like a frame protecting the flame of the candle to flicker, my lord will help me to find courage in the darkest hours and wisdom in the gloomiest days. He will shield me from pride and envy and bless me with a clean heart.

Prabhu ki sharan main Jaana hai…Hari Om….tatsat!!

On Faith...

Often in life we find ourselves in situations where we could see ourselves stuck in a
corner.....with our noses against the walls........in spite of all the effort we could imagine to
squeeze out of ourselves....the situation seems to have come to a standstill....it becomes
imperative to ask ourselves...about when is this going to get over? when shall i see the
light..??and when will things start falling in the right place ???.........patience runs out like
the sand held in the hand....never ending times...they seem...i shut my eyes and pray.....i pray
for myself with faith....i pray to the almighty to give me strength....strength to hang on..to
hold on the knot of the rope...
"when u reach the end of the rope try a knot and hang on"-Thomas Jeffersonpraying makes me humble....i try to shed my ego...although it hurts....but i feel relieved after
getting rid of a part of it....shedding ego is not shedding urr self respect as some might
decipher it...but it is more like respecting even the most degraded thing and realising unity
with the surroundings and the universe.....therefore i must say....shedding urr ego is one of the
hardest things...but it makes u light and u find urr self closer to god....practising faith is
also very tough for a common man...because every expects results...and why not??....failure is
frustrating....specially when a lot is at stake.....at times it shatters you completely....back
to square one....I've tasted failure some times when I'd put everything at stake including my
faith.....i hoped that i shall be successful because god would acknowledge the efforts i'd put
in......and after failing I'd cursed god like anything....but it is of late that i realise that
everything happens for a reason...I believe that Good and Bad have equal meanings to god and
things unfold them in a longer run....I strongly consider time to be the most significant form of
god...Now the question arises as to what shall we do in such situations.....believe me....i've
been looking for this answer for quite a long time now...and the search seems to be
explanatory...i feel that moving on is the key....take urr time but make sure u move
on....stagnancy is death....the past comes back and haunts...it's important to bury it as deep
as possible...
"This world is a very mean and a very selfish place and I don't care how much strong you are it
will beat you to urr knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.....If you know what you
are capable of then go get it...but u should be worthy enough to take the hits and not look at
someone and point a finger at ....cowards do that and that ain't you."

-Rocky Balboa in Rocky VI.

...to be continued.....

(The above was in drafted format since a long time...publishing it after finding the answers today :))
The answer was found on 1st Dec 2014- If you are not getting the answers, he has some thing better planned for you.Keep up the faith
